Last Friday, I managed to settle RM10 million of debt.
My total debt dropped from RM100 million to RM90 million.
Sounds easy? Trust me… it was not.
To clear the debt, I had to let go of a RM10 million warehouse. What hurt the most was not losing the asset — it was how people treated us during the process.
At first, everything was smooth. But once the title transfer was about to happen, they suddenly wanted us to vacate our current operations immediately. As if we were nothing.
That moment really opened my eyes.
When people need you, they treat you nicely.
When they no longer need you, respect can disappear very quickly.
I was angry. Very angry.
I told them clearly — if they pushed us unfairly, I would fight publicly and show the world how cruel the situation was.
Alhamdulillah, after intense discussions, they finally agreed to our terms. We signed the agreement, signed the transfer, and successfully cleared RM10 million of debt.
Let me tell you this honestly:
Settling debt by selling or letting go of assets is never easy.
But don’t be too attached to material things. Assets can always be bought back later. Peace of mind and survival are more important.
This is only one step.
The next journey will be even tougher.
Please continue to make doa for me as I work through the remaining RM90 million.
Over the past few days, I’ve received many messages from people struggling with debt — Malays, Chinese, Indians, business owners, families, ordinary workers. Many are silently suffering.
My advice is simple:
Face the debt.
Don’t run from it.
Focus on what you CAN do.
Take it one step at a time.
InshaAllah, every sincere effort will open another door.
May Allah ease the journey of everyone fighting to become debt-free.
